Throwback Thursday returns once again this time looking back to June 1986 and we kick things off with Michael Caine making an appearance around Ipswich Waterfront.
The legendary actor was in Ipswich for the filming of ‘The Fourth Protocol’ a cold war spy movie which also featured Pierce Brosnan as a KGB officer.
Next up children from schools around Suffolk got together to compete in a series of athletic competitions across track and field.
Children of Stowmarket High School were treated to a day out at Ipswich airfield where they were able to see a variety of planes and other vehicles close up.
We also look back to Chantry High School where all the children were out and lined up along the field as a parachutist came in to land on a big white cross positioned on the school grounds.
