POLICE have today named a teenage driver who died when her car collided with a tree on Saturday. Officers believe Katie Whitehead, of Hockwold, in Norfolk was killed between 6.15am and 7.40am on Saturday June 30.
POLICE have today named a teenage driver who died when her car collided with a tree.
Officers believe Katie Whitehead, of Hockwold, in Norfolk was killed between 6.15am and 7.40am on Saturday on the B1106 near Brandon Country Park. She was 18.
A spokesman for Sufffolk police said: “Officers were called at 7.40am to the discovery of a silver Citroen Saxo which had left the B1106 near Brandon country park and collided with a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.”
