Debenhams’ department store on Ipswich Cornhill was evacuated at lunchtime on Friday after a fire alarm was triggered in a light fitting.
Firefighters checked the building and tracked the light fitting which was not damaged, and left the store within 30 minutes allowing it to re-open.
