HEADTEACHERS across Suffolk are being asked to make an early decision tomorrow morning over whether to close schools due to the weather.
There are no closures planned at present, but each head will need to make a judgment based on the conditions in their area when the majority of schools return from the Christmas break tomorrow.
A spokesman for Suffolk County Council said: “Headteachers are encouraged to make an early decision so we can update our website and inform the media, and therefore parents and carers, as quickly as possible.”
Worlingham Primary School was closed today due to a heating fault, but is expected to open tomorrow.
