Deluge causes problems for shop

STORMY weather caused problems at an Ipswich town centre shop when deluge of rain caused a section of the ceiling to collapse.

Stock was damaged at Adams Children's Wear Store as water poured in to the shop from the storm.

STORMY weather caused problems at an Ipswich town centre shop when deluge of rain caused a section of the ceiling to collapse.

Stock was damaged at Adams Children's Wear Store as water poured in to the shop from the storm.

A fire crew from Princes Street were called to the shop in Westgate Street at around 2.15pm yesterday.

Firefighters carried out salvage work at the scene. Nobody was injured in the incident.
