Detectives Arrest Lowestoft Man

DETECTIVES have today arrested a man in connection with the murder of a pensioner in Lowestoft.

The man in question is a 25-year-old Lowestoft man. He is currently being held at Lowestoft police station.

The man in question is a 25-year-old Lowestoft man. He is currently being held at Lowestoft police station.

Bernard Thomassen, 76, was found dead on December 8 at about 4am. He had extensive head injuries.

Another 32-year-old man also arrested in connection with the murder has been released on police bail.
