An Efit has been issued of a man police want to speak to after a runner was assaulted.

The woman, in her early 20s, was knocked to the ground by the man between 3-3.15pm on a footpath in woodland off Quilter Drive, Ipswich, on August 26.

The runner managed to get up and run away from the scene.

Detectives want to speak to the man pictured in the Efit in connection with the incident.

He was white, described as in his 20s, around 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build, with short dark hair.

He wore a baby blue T-shirt, jeans and dark coloured trainers and was carrying a dark anorak-type jacket over his arm.

Officers are asking anyone who may recognise him, or anyone who may have seen him in the area around the time of the incident, to come forward.
