AN aunt of Diana, Princess of Wales, helped lead a memorial service at Suffolk's cathedral to mark the 10 year anniversary of her death.
Lady Anne Wake-Walker, who lives in East Bergholt, was among about 100 people at the service in St Edmundsbury Cathedral, Bury St Edmunds, yesterday.
Lady Wake-Walker - sister to Diana's late father, the eighth Earl Spencer - read out a passage taken from St Paul's First Letter to the Corinthians.
The passage was read at both Diana's wedding in 1981 and her funeral in 1997, the 87-year-old said.
