A bus replacement service was requested to run between Ipswich and Felixstowe after a train was damaged in an incident of vandalism.
Greater Anglia confirmed services between Ipswich and Felixstowe were suspended after a train used on the line was vandalised.
A bus replacement service was requested to transport passengers between the two stations.
Customers were requested to use the station help point to request alternative road transport.
The company confirmed disruption had come to an end at roughly 6pm.
