ELDERLY residents have been targeted by distraction burglars in Great Blakenham.Two incidents occurred in the village between 2.15pm and 3pm yesterday , with two men approaching elderly residents and claiming work needed to be done on their properties.
ELDERLY residents have been targeted by distraction burglars in Great Blakenham.
Two incidents occurred in the village between 2.15pm and 3pm yesterday , with two men approaching elderly residents and claiming work needed to be done on their properties.
One man showed a resident an ID card which was white with blue edging and did not contain a photograph.
The men entered both properties but nothing was stolen at either house.
The first man is described as white, 5ft 10in and about 30-years-old.
He was of medium build, reddish complexion, clean shaven with collar length hair.
He was wearing a brown jacket and was dressed casually.
The second man was also white, about 5ft 11in, in his 20s and of slim build.
He had a pale complexion and was clean shaven with collar length grey hair.
He was also wearing casual clothing, possible a jacket and trainers.
