OFFICERS investigating a robbery in which a 69-year-old man was robbed of nearly £1,000 of fishing tackle in Great Blakenham, are today releasing a computer generated 'e' fit of the woman involved and descriptions of others involved.

OFFICERS investigating a robbery in which a 69-year-old man was robbed of nearly £1,000 of fishing tackle in Great Blakenham, are expected to release a computer generated 'e' fit of the woman involved.

Descriptions of others involved have also been released.

At around 3pm on Wednesday, December 19, the man was fishing at Sharnford Lock when he was approached by a group of four men and a woman who started to engage him in conversation. He was then threatened by two of the group who were brandishing knives, demanding that he handed over his equipment. The group then fled.

The man was not physically injured, but was left extremely shaken.

The four male offenders who are all in their early 20s, are described as white male, around 6ft tall, wearing black woolly hat, dark blue Parka style coat, dark blue jeans, white baseball boots; black male, around 5ft 9in tall, clean shaven, wearing black woolly hat, black bomber jacket, blue jeans; white male, around 5ft 9in tall, clean shaven, wearing woolly hat, light coloured jacket and blue jeans; white male, around 5ft 9in tall, clean shaven, wearing bright blue Nike training shoes; the woman is described as white, late teens, 5ft 4in-5ft 5in tall, slim build, long waist length blonde hair, wearing a dark green jacket and dark blue tracksuit bottoms.
