Traffic flow around a retail park in Martlesham Heath has been called into question with the latest developments in the area.
Work to prepare land off Anson Road next to Tesco is underway for two new stores.
But with traffic already building up around the Anson Road roundabout with Beardmore Park, and the junction for Gloster Road industrial estate, the ability of the roads to cope with additional traffic new stores in the area will bring have been called into question.
Patricia O’Brien, Suffolk county councillor for Martlesham said that traffic in the area was already “colossal” and coupled with prospective plans to build 2,000 homes off Adastral Park could create even more traffic problems.
