As plans have been unveiled for a new Aldi store in Ipswich – which if approved could become the fifth in Ipswich and Martlesham – we have launched a poll to see what you make of the news.
The budget supermarket lodged a fresh planning application last week to develop land off Europa Way, near Sproughton Road.
If approved, the store will bring around 50 jobs to the area.
The retailer already announced plans to create a store near Kingpin in Martlesham Heath, and has existing stores in Pinewood, Rosehill Retail Centre and Meredith Road.
Now we are asking you, do you think Ipswich needs another Aldi?
What would you like to see done with the land?
Do you think Ipswich has too many supermarkets already?
