IPSWICH: A dog has died after it fell through ice into a pond in Hadleigh Road at 8.25 this morning.

The animal was one of three dogs to fall into the freezing water at the time.
A water rescue vehicle from Princes Street fire station and a four-wheel drive vehicle from Bury St Edmunds fire station were called to the scene to save the dog, which died later at a vets in Ipswich.
