A DOG had to be put down today after it was involved in a road accident on the A12 close to the Copdock interchange.The accident happened at 7.30am on Sunday morning and involved one car, which flipped over and landed on its roof.

The accident happened at 7.30am on Sunday morning and involved one car, which flipped over and landed on its roof on the eastbound carriageway.
A police spokesman said a woman and child in the car at the time of the accident were freed from the vehicle and did not require hospital treatment.
A retriever dog at the scene, belonging to the family from Norfolk, suffered injuries and had to be put down.
