Dog saved in kitchen fire

CREWS were called to an Ipswich house today after a small fire broke out in the kitchen.A spokesman for the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said two crews from Princes Street station were called to the property in Anita Close West shortly after 3.

CREWS were called to an Ipswich house today after a small fire broke out in the kitchen.

A spokesman for the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said two crews from Princes Street station were called to the property in Anita Close West shortly after 3.30pm.

He said a dog had been rescued from the house before fire-fighters arrived. One water fog was used and breathing apparatus.

The fire was brought under control at 3.53pm.
