EIGHTIES pop star Jason Donovan is set to make a musical comeback and will be taking to the road with a new tour next year, it has been announced today.
The star, who made his name in Australian soap opera Neighbours before scoring a string of pop hits is set to appear at Ipswich's Regent Theatre in May.
Donovan, who recently saw a resurgence in his popularity since appearing on the hit reality television show I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, will be performing his greatest hits during the tour, which has been named Especially For You - the title of the number one single he released with Kylie Minogue in 1988.
Donovan has since gone on to make his name as a West End musical star and has appeared in shows such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and The Rocky Horror Show.
Tickets for the concert, on Friday May 4, go on sale on Saturday.
