The X Factor finalist will perform at the venue on May 6, 2009 as part of a 17 date UK tour.

Rhydian said: “I feel I am really living when I am singing on stage. The rest of life is like putting pieces together, trying to make sense of it. But when I am on stage, lights on, in the zone, that's real, proper life for me.

“And it's a great life. Forget all the bad stuff that goes on, the ups and downs, the everyday confusion. On stage, singing, that's where I belong.”

Tickets for both shows are available from the box office on 01473 433100 from Friday.
