Driver arrested following fatal crash

A MAN has today been arrested following a crash in which a motorcyclist was killed.A 46-year-old was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and bailed to return to Bury St Edmunds police station on September 27.

A 46-year-old was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and bailed to return to Bury St Edmunds police station on September 27.

At around 12.15pm a motorcyclist was killed on the B1106 at the North Stow picnic park, south of Elveden.

The male rider whose Suzuki motorbike was involved in a collision with a Peugeot car at 12.15pm, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The East Anglian Ambulance Service was also called to the scene of the crash.

The male rider was the sixth biker to die on the roads of Suffolk so far this year.
