A MOTORIST had a lucky escape today after his car left the A14 and rolled over twice before ending up in a ditch.
The driver - understood to be an elderly man - had to be cut free from his red Peugeot 406 after the crash, which happened about 2.30pm on the Ipswich-bound carriageway just before the Levington turn-off at Morston Hall.
A police spokeswoman said an ambulance had attended but the man was not badly injured.
The car ended up about 25ft from the road, but one carriageway was closed while the emergency vehicles attended and dealt with the accident.
