Driver killed in A14 crash

A MOTORIST was killed today after skidding and crashing into a tree off a busy Suffolk road.

The 43-year-old man was taken to West Suffolk Hospital but died from injuries sustained in the crash on the A14 eastbound at Rougham.

The 43-year-old man was taken to West Suffolk Hospital but died from injuries sustained in the crash on the A14 eastbound at Rougham.

The accident happened just before 9.45am today when the blue Mondeo hit a tree about 100 metres after the Ravenwood Hotel junction. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.

Details of the victim's identity have yet to be released by police.
