Driver killed in Bury St Edmunds named

A CAR driver killed in an accident in Bury St Edmunds has today been named as Charles Adkins , 64, from Great Barton.

Mr Adkins was driving a Vauxhall Cavalier when it was involved in a collision with a white Mercedes lorry at 8.

Mr Adkins was driving a Vauxhall Cavalier when it was involved in a collision with a white Mercedes lorry at 8.55am yesterday in Bedingfield Way.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information about the crash to contact Pc Martin England on 01284 774100.
