A MOTORIST died last night in an accident between a car and a lorry near Newmarket.
Police said a car driver was killed in the collision on the A142, just north of the A14 at 10.50pm.
The lorry driver was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, with what were believed to "non life-threatening" injuries.
Last night's fatality takes this year's death toll on Suffolk's roads to 58 – up from 43 last year.
