Drivers face continued A14 delays

RUSH hour commuters are likely to face long delays this evening while work to clear wreckage from the A14 continues.

Traffic around Ipswich has been at a standstill for large parts of today following a series of smashes in both directions.

RUSH hour commuters are likely to face long delays this evening while work to clear wreckage from the A14 continues.

Traffic around Ipswich has been at a standstill for large parts of today following a series of smashes in both directions.

The A14 between the Copdock Mill Interchange and the A1156 was closed in both directions following the horrific collisions early this morning.

A Suffolk Police spokeswoman said the road was likely to remain closed while work to make the carriageway safe was carried out.
