POLICE praised drivers for driving carefully today given the treacherous conditions, despite a few early morning crashes.Shortly after 7am emergency services were called to Bull Lane, in Melford where two vehicles had collided.
Fire crews were called to Woodbridge Road in Framlingham, close to the entrance of Broadwater Farm, at around 4.30pm after a car overturned.
A crew from Saxmundham, a crew from Framlingham and the rescue tender from Princes Street in Ipswich attended and released a 40-year-old woman from the vehicle.
It took around 20 minutes to release her and she was taken to Ipswich Hospital.
At 6.20pm emergency services were called to an overturned car on the B1116 in Parham.
One person has to be released and suffered minor shoulder injuries.
Meanwhile, tailbacks built up on the south-bound A12 after a car spun off the road at Bucklesham, near Ipswich, at about 6pm. The driver did not suffer serious injuries in the single-vehicle crash.
