All the colours of the rainbow were on show at one Suffolk school today in aid of Children in Need.
Gorseland Primary School in Martlesham’s non-uniform day saw each year group given a different colour to dress in so they could create a vibrant aerial rainbow.
Elizabeth Leonard from the school said: “It was a whole school event. It was really exciting.
“We had a drone here which filmed it and we took some photographs of it.
“We had a special assembly as well and sang some reworded songs.
“The children have had a really fun morning.”
The school raised £850 for the charity fundraising marathon and is also donating money to Acorn House, which supports families of sick children being treated at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
A cake sale also boosted the total. The aerial footage and photos came from a drone supplied by Van Cols photographers.
