The wait is nearly over – Trinity Park will open its gates for the biggest event of the year, the Suffolk Show, in two days’ time.
New drone footage of the showground from above captures organisers making the final preparations as the countdown to the two-day event draws to a close.
Thousands of visitors are expected to visit the show this year – with guests, growers and producers travelling to the venue from across Suffolk, Essex and Norfolk.
Activities will kick off at around 8.30am on Wednesday and continue through until approximately 6pm on Thursday.
Highlights for this year’s show – picked by show director Bee Kemball – are the Shetland Pony Grand National – in which Rocco Dettori, son of Newmarket jockey Frankie, is set to compete.
The fast and furious terrier racing, which she described as among her “absolute favourites”, is also hoped to be a popular attraction.
Displays by Atkinson Action Horses, the equine stars of the BBC’s Poldark, will also be a major draw, Bee has predicted.
The logistics boss, who is at the helm for the first time this year, said they had so far been lucky with the weather in the build-up to the event.
