The Eagles, who are among the best-selling artists of all time, could be set to visit the county in June as part of their world tour in what would be a major coup for the region.
But sources say that the concert is now unlikely, although it is not definitely off.
The band, famous for a string of hits including Hotel California and Take it Easy, launch their tour in Kansas City, USA, tomorrow and conclude it in Lisbon, Portugal, in late July.
