AN earl and his son escaped from their castle today after fire ripped through the historic building.
Lord Glasgow and son David fled Kelburn Castle in North Ayrshire, Scotland, at about 1.45am this morning.
Some 25 firefighters battled the blaze, which broke out in a top floor room and spread to the roof of the 13th century castle.
The fire was out by 7.20am.
