A tea dance will take place next month at an Ipswich School as part of the East of England Organ Day.
Dance is the theme for this year’s Organ Day at the Royal Hospital School .
Visiting organists will perform Stravinsky’s ‘Rite of Spring’ as well as music by Debussy, Ravel and Dukas as part of the days celebrations.
The tea dance will take place in the afternoon in the school’s cathedral proportioned chapel accompanied by the Grand Organ.
The school hope that dancers of all ages and experiences will take part in everything from waltzes and foxtrots to jives and sambas.
Music requests are also being taken by email in advance of the event.
The tea dance is taking place on April 21 from 2.30pm - 4pm.
