Students and staff from St Joseph’s College will be strutting the catwalk to raise money for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) on Saturday.
Ed Sheeran has also donated a shirt to be auctioned off during the charity night at the college in Belstead Road, Ipswich.
Guests will be treated to all the latest fashions from eleven clothing concessions when the college is transformed into a fashion hall. Around 120 models will take part in the fashion show.
West End star Ruthie Henshall and radio presenter Wayne Bavin will be the hosts, while Ipswich singer Jade Peters will also perform on the catwalk.
Vicki Harvey, head of creative and performing arts at the college, said: “We are really excited about the fashion show; the students have worked so hard to make it a successful and an enjoyable event
“We hosted a show for EACH in 2014 and whilst that was fabulous, we want this year’s event to be even bigger and better.
“We are lucky to have been supported by a number of local businesses and with Ruthie, Wayne and Jade all playing a part in hosting and entertaining our audience, I am sure we can raise even more money this year.
“EACH is a charity that is dear to many of us at the college, which is why we want to aim higher.
“We even have a special shirt, once owned by Ed Sheeran to auction on the night.”
All the proceeds from the event will be donated to EACH.
The charity cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across East Anglia and supports their families.
Doors open at 6pm on Saturday for a chance to browse the fashion stalls and enjoy a welcome drink.
The catwalk show begins at 6.30pm in the fashion arena followed by an interval and “an opportunity to indulge in a bit of shopping before the second half of fashion delights”, an event spokesman said.
The spokesman added: “We are working with 11 different clothes designers and businesses from the world of fashion including Coes, and Urban Vintage. We have received well wishes also from Kensington Palace from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.”
Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for children aged 12. See here to buy tickets.
Tickets will also be sold on the door.
