A ELDERLY person has been killed in a road accident in Hintlesham this afternoon.Emergency crews are currently at the scene of the accident, which involved a car and a lorry, on Silver Hill, Hintlesham.
A ELDERLY person has been killed in a road accident in Hintlesham this afternoon.
Emergency crews are currently at the scene of the accident, which involved a car and a lorry, on Silver Hill, Hintlesham.
Ambulance, fire and police were all called to the scene, outside Hintlesham Nurseries at 4pm.
Crews from four ambulances and the East Anglian air ambulance are currently treating the other elderly passenger of the car and the lorry driver.
A spokesman for Suffolk Police said the road was completely blocked and had been closed.
