AN ELDERY woman was treated for minor smoke inhalation this evening after a fire at her home.
AN ELDERY woman was treated for minor smoke inhalation this evening after a fire at her home.
The 70-year-old woman was treated by paramedics at her home in Hunting Gate, Colchester.
The ambulance service alerted Essex Fire and Rescue Service at around 7.15pm.
Upon arrival the crew discovered the fire was had already been extinguished.
Firefighters from Colchester fire station inspected the property to ensure it was safe and the incident was under control by 7.40pm.
