FIREFIGHTERS in Ipswich were called to a fire which took hold of electrical cabling this evening.
Two crews from Princes Street fire station and another from Colchester fire station were called to tackle the blaze in West Meadow, near the Whitehouse industrial estate at around 10.15pm.
They discovered a large quantity of electrical cabling well alight.
Tackling the flames they brought the incident under control by 10.36pm.
