TWO budding engineers of the future have taken part in the regional final of a design competition.
And although 11-year-olds Django Robinson and Hadley French-Gerrard didn't win that stage of the competition, their head teacher at Elmsett Primary School said he was very proud of them.
The pair had to design models made from K'Nex pieces in the K'Nex Junior Engineers Competition.
The competition, run by Suffolk Education Business Partnership, started with the youngsters getting through the county stage where they had to design and discuss a fairground ride made from K'Nex pieces.
They won through to the regional finals which involved the design and discussion of building a bridge.
Paul Marshall, head of Elmsett Primary, said: "I am very proud of the two children and this was an excellent design exercise for them."
