Genesis Housing Association has launched its emergency beds scheme for rough sleepers in Ipswich as the temperatures continue to drop.

Twelve cold weather beds are being provided, in partnership with Ipswich Borough Council, at Cavendish Lodge in Turret Lane.

People are assessed by staff and provided with a hot drink and snack, while housing advisors are also on-hand to provide longer-term help and support.

Access is available from 6pm.
