A FULL-SCALE emergency took place at Stansted airport today when a plane was forced to make an emergency landing.The Olympic Airlines flight 411 from Athens to JFK airport in New York was escorted into the Essex airport by RAF fighter jets following a bomb threat.
A FULL-SCALE emergency took place at Stansted airport today when a plane was forced to make an emergency landing.
The Olympic Airlines flight 411 from Athens to JFK airport in New York was escorted into the Essex airport by RAF fighter jets following a bomb threat.
The plane landed at shortly after 3.30pm and all 301 people on board were evacuated via the stairs.
Police explosive experts were due at the scene with dogs to search the plane.
