Emmaus Ipswich has taken over a former pub in Dales Road and is selling donated clothes and furniture.

The money raised will go towards developing a community home in the town for people who are sleeping rough.

Project manager, Claire Staddon, said: “The local support has been incredible, we are touched with the positive response from the community.

“It has been very warmly received, people have been positive about the shop and our intentions for working with the homeless.”

The shop is open 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.
