The season is coming to an end now. But youngsters at Ipswich Bicycle Club have been racing in the EADT Cross League, from September, enjoying plenty of success.
In the youth section (under 16s), Ipswich's Lewis Parker has won a bronze medal in the EADT League, after a series of outstanding performances, Patrick Cook too has performed consistently well.
Star man, Hugo Robinson, has only ridden in four EADT meetings, winning all of them, but Hugo spends a lot of time chasing national glory, as he one of the country's top youth riders.
Alwyn Newstead is currently sitting as the leading under-14 Ipswich rider in the EADT league.
In the under-12s, Pierce Bacon and Tomas Gould lead the way for the Ipswich club, both set to finish in the top 10, Pierce has this year been the leading under-10 at the club.

Ipswich Bicycle club teamed up with Team Ipswich to run a Come and Try it cyclo-cross session at Foxhall Stadium in December. Organised the day before the Eastern Regional Championship, the Ipswich Club opened up the course to the community and what a great day it proved
Organiser Adam Keer, from the Bicycle club, said: “Lots of people often comment that they would like to have a go at a cyclo-cross course but aren't quite prepared to enter a race.
“Our Come and Try it session welcomed all comers to have a bit of fun and enjoy an off-road course at their own pace.”
More than 25 people turned out in the cold December weather and enjoyed practising their skills and learning from club's coaches who were on hand.
Ipswich Bicycle club runs regular coaching sessions that welcome all abilities looking at both off-road and road skills.
The club also organises a lot of competitive races for most cycling disciplines. For further information on the club and its activities, contact Adam Keer on 07880 601396.
