A MOTORCYCLIST killed after a road crash in Layer de la Haye has been named.
Charles Pritchett, 63, of Mill Street, St Osyth, died at the scene yesterday..
The crash happened at about 12.30pm on the B1026 when a blue BMW motorbike and a red Renault Espace collided.
Police closed a section of road between Birch Road and Malting Green Road in the immediate aftermath of the crash.. Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to contact Stanway Road Policing Unit on 01206 762512.
