COLCHESTER police officer Chris Lacey, arrested in connection with allegations of child pornography, has been suspended on full pay.Detective Constable Lacey, who worked on the case of murdered Essex schoolgirl Danielle Jones, was questioned in relation to indecent images of children on computers and released on police bail until March pending further inquiries.

Detective Constable Lacey, who worked on the case of murdered Essex schoolgirl Danielle Jones, was questioned in relation to indecent images of children on computers and released on police bail until March pending further inquiries.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "He has been suspended from duty on full pay pending the outcome of the police investigation. Any disciplinary matters will take place after the conclusion of the criminal investigation, that is normal procedure."
Det Con Lacey was arrested on Thursday.
