An evening of reflection has been organised by Kesgrave Town Council to allow families to remember a loved one this Christmas.
The event will be held from 7pm outside the town council offices in Ropes Drive on Friday, December 15.
A special Christmas tree for remembrance has been set up outside the town council offices, with families able to write messages to their loved ones no longer with them on gold stars, which can then be hung on the tree.
Stars will be available until Wednesday, December 20 and can be hung on the tree at any time by families, or handed in to the town council office staff who will hang the stars ahead of the reflection evening.
A spokeswoman from the town council said it was a “poignant” event for the community.
