ANXIOUS parents have been reassured that AS Level examinations set to be held tomorrow will take place, even if schools are closed.
Many parents have been contacting Suffolk County Council over the last few days after about 70% of schools closed to pupils on Thursday and Friday.
However, a council spokeswoman has said that schools have made arrangements for exams to go ahead, even at sites that are shut to other pupils.
A county Council spokeswoman said: “As far as we have been able to determine, schools have made arrangements for examinations to take place irrespective of whether the school has to be closed for other students.
“Parents and pupils should check the school's website for information.”
