Excitement builds ahead of town’s most glittering night
ipswich: The countdown is on!
With less than two weeks to go until a night of glitz and glamour, organisers of this year’s Ipswich and Suffolk Press Ball are urging residents to get their hands on the few remaining tickets.
Known for being one of the most glamorous events on the town’s social calendar, the event will raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
R&B star Lemar is set to take to the stage to entertain the crowds on the night.
Organiser Mick Parker said this year’s event would be “bigger and better than ever”, and for the first time will include a silent auction in addition to the traditional auction.
It is to take place at Trinity Park on Friday, June 15, and the menu will include Suffolk grown produce.
Mr Parker said tickets to the glittering night are selling fast with just a few remaining.
