EXPLOSIVE experts were called to Manningtree after a flare was found in an imported Japanese car.
The flare was found in a dangerous condition while the car-owner was cleaning their vehicle at about 12.45pm yesterday.
Walton coastguards and the joint services explosive ordnance disposal team were sent to the scene and the flare was removed by the experts.
