The aim is to give them easier access for people with disabilities, the latest technology and a more customer focussed style.
From December 1 essential building work takes place at the Jobcentre in Woodbridge.
Manager Avril Aitken, said: ''Our office is over three floors and during the refurbishment a number of areas on each floor area will be temporarily closed. Our top priority however is to deliver business as usual.''
The work includes improving the entrance in the Thoroughfare with a new ramp and an automatic door. This will take a week and entrance to the building will be from Little St John Street.
In Stowmarket the Jobcentre will conduct all business from the ground floor while the first floor is refurbished.
