POLICE are today looking for the culprit who issued a fake police document, falsely listing the names of serious offenders.
POLICE are today looking for the culprit who issued a fake police document, falsely listing the names of serious offenders.
The discovery of the document, which was embossed with a fake Essex Police crest, was found in the street near Ghyllgrove School, Basildon, on December 16, by a resident.
Officers soon realised the document was fake and condemned the act as “dangerous” and “irresponsible”.
The motive is not yet known. All those who were listed on the document have been visited and reassured by Essex Police.
