A charity ball is being held in Suffolk in memory of a father who was killed in a road crash.
Colin Fisk, 43 and from Kesgrave, died during a collision on the A140 at Mendlesham in July last year.
His seven-year-old daughter was also in the car at the time of the crash and was airlifted to hospital with broken collar bones.
Mr Fisk’s sister-in-law, Kathryn Fisk, has organised an event to raise money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance and The Fire Fighters Charity.
She said: “I felt I needed to do something in Colin’s memory and try do something positive out of such a tragic horrific event what has left all of Colin’s family and friends with broken hearts.”
Mrs Fisk said she had been “truly amazed” by the level of support she had received for the event.
The sold-out ball will take place on Saturday, June 30 from 6.30pm at Ufford Park Hotel, Woodbridge, and will involve a raffle and auction with donated prizes.
The main sponsor is Mr Fisk’s former employer, Denmans in Ipswich.
