ANNETTE Nicholls devastated family today spoke of the pain brought by the 29-year-old's murder.
In a prepared statement read out by Dc Toni Lang relatives remembered a much loved daughter, sister and mother.
The statement read: “The parents, brothers and sisters of Annette Nicholls would like to thank Suffolk Police and all extended Forces for all their hard work in bringing the person responsible for our Annette's murder to justice.
“We would also like to especially thank Mr Peter Wright, Mr Simon Spence and team, the forensic experts and the jury for coming to the right verdict.
“No punishment this person receives will ever be enough for us. Nothing will bring our beautiful loving mother, daughter and sister back home.
“This man has robbed the parents of a loving and much loved daughter and siblings of a loving sister.
“But at least we can rest knowing that this man is no longer on the streets of Ipswich, ready to take another girl's life.
“We would also like to say a special thank you to Detective Constables Steve Clarke and Toni Lang for all their support through this dreadful time.”
