A DEVASTATED family have paid tribute to their “beautiful daughter” who was killed in a road accident.

Sarah-Jane Lynch died when her silver Toyota Aygo left the road and collided with a tree along the road between Walsham-le-Willows - where she lived - and the nearby village of Ixworth at around 4.30am on Monday.

Her family - including her father, brother, sister and grandparents - described the 20-year-old as “loving and loyal”, and said she would be missed by everyone who knew her.

In a statement released through Suffolk police, they said: “Sarah-Jane Lynch was our beautiful daughter; witty, intelligent, sensitive, always smiling daughter.

“She had just completed her first year at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, was starting a summer job with Suffolk County Council, and generally looking forward to a great summer catching up with all her old school friends from Thurston Community College, who were either coming back from other universities or worked in and around Bury.”

Her family added: “Sarah-Jane was a very loving, loyal and conscientious person, who always gave 100 per cent effort and commitment in whatever she did. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.”
